Dwarf galaxies: images and catalogs

Context
The MATLAS dwarf catalog consists of 2210 objects located in the field of the massive ETGs from the Atlas3D sample, located in low density or group environments. Among them 69 (3%) qualify as Ultra-Diffuse Galaxies (UDGs). The HI content and globular cluster population of all objects has been systematically identified. A sub-sample benefits from HST high-resolution imaging and integral field spectroscopic data obtained with VLT MUSE instrument.

Catalogs
The full catalog of dwarf galaxies in the MATLAS fields is given in Poulain et al. 2021. The selection process is presented in Habas et al., 2020
Table 3 from Poulain et al., 2021 listing the structural and photometric properties of the dwarfs (ASCII format). It may be queried from CDS/Vizier.
Table 4 from Poulain et al., 2021 listing the properties of the dwarf nuclei (ASCII format). It may be queried from CDS/Vizier.

The UDG catalog is published in Marleau et al., 2021. All objects may be inspected from this page.

Details properties and images
Images and detailed information on each dwarf, including structural parameters, HI content and globular cluster population, may be queried from this interface, entering the dwarf ID (e.g. MATLAS-2019) or from the general MATLAS image and field selection interface.
